Rotary-vane compressed-air systems

We produce and sales rotary-vane compressors and compressed-air systems for installation in road and rail vehicles.

Function principle of rotary-vane compressor

Rotation compressors are also called rotary piston, rotary vane, multi-cell or sliding vane compressors. They are rotating displacement machines.

The rotor with its vanes, placed eccentrically in the housing, forms the central element.

If the rotating speeds are sufficiently large, the vanes are moved outward by the centrifugal force. Together with the rotor and the housing, they form sickle-shaped cells. These cells enlarge (suction area) and reduce periodically (compression area) with every turn.

The cell is closed towards the suction area at the largest volumes. The compressed medium will reach the consumer after volume reduction or pressure increase in the cell.
